Wetgate Restoration:

We always recommend our ‘Wetgate’ option for the best results from all films.

Films sent to Stanleys are cleaned by hand to remove dust particles and any small amounts of mould. Our optional Wetgate procedure can hide major film damage such as projection scratches or any pitting of the film surface or emulsion (a restoration technique generally used for broadcast productions).
