Description
The Rugged RAID Pro 4TB is a fast, portable RAID storage solution designed for backing up “in the field” with it’s build in SD card reader.

RAID Options
Thinner and lighter than it’s predecessor, the Rugged RAID Pro can be configured to RAID 0 (for performance) or RAID 1 (for mirroring) using the LaCie RAID Management software (no fiddly button presses needed!).

Rugged Design
The orange rugged design is synonymous within the creative industry. Used for backing up and transporting data on location.

The rugged design is resistant to drops, crushes, rain, and shocks, even in extreme conditions.

Crush resistance: 1-ton car
Dust/water resistance: IP54 Protection against dust and rain
Built in SD Card Reader
No need to carry an extra peripheral on location. Transfer footage quickly from your SD card to the hard drive or computer with the Rugged RAID’s build in SD Card Reader.

USB Type-C Interface
The Rugged RAID Pro has a single USB-C interface making it compatible with the latest Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C MAC’s and PC’s. It is also backwards compatible to USB 3.0 (and USB 2.0) with the included USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable.

Power
The Rugged RAID is BUS powered when plugging into Thunderbolt-3 or USB-C interface.

It does require mains power when connecting to USB 3.0 (power supply included)!

Warranty and Data Recovery
The Rugged RAID Pro comes with a 3 year manufacturers warranty.

This includes data recovery with the Seagate Rescue Service, a free data recovery service should the worst happen.
